fiverr or Upwork which one is best for beginners.

- there are 1.1 billion freelancers and you want to be one of them. but you dont know where to start. let me tell you. 

fiverr.

Starting with fiverr. fiverr is a very big freelancing platform and a home to 3.42 million freelancers and annual revenue released in 2020 was 189 million dollar it is a very fast growing platform and has been there since 2010. to work on fiverr it is very simple you just create a gig and client will come to you.

Upwork.

Upwork is also a very big platform and it has been there from 2013. it is a home to 18 million freelancers and the estimated amount they made was 2.3 billion dollars in 2018. Unlike fiverr where you create a gig and buyers reach to you but on Upwork buyers create a gig of what they need and sellers reach to them and show their work.

- Now lets talk about why fiverr is better than Upwork.

fiverr is a very great freelancing platform for beginners who want to work small and who are just starting out or they are new to the service that they are providing in their gig and they might have less experience doing freelancing.

-But here are 3 points that make fiverr better.

1 (You can get clients more easily on Upwork because of the rate and the gig system).

2 (fiverr always gives advantage to new freelancers).

3 (the fiverr commission fees is 20% for whatever amount you earn unlike Upwork where...... Upwork commission fees ).

- why Upwork is better than fiverr

Upwork is very great platform for you if you have more experience doing freelancing. if you want to work with companies and big clients earn more and make long term clients than Upwork is best for you. but what makes it better than fiverr.

1 (You can always earn more on Upwork)

2 (You can always bid on clients like you might not get order on fiverr)

3 (You can get returning clients).

-But which one should you choose.

it is very simple if you are new you should choose fiverr if you are experienced you should choose Upwork.this does not mean that you have to be experienced to use Upwork or  if you have experience you cant choose fiverr. in the end its on you just select what you like more. my personal favorite is fiverr because how beginner friendly it is.

- conclusion (personal opinion)

there were alot of things that we couldn't talk about in the article. like Upwork has a big downside that you only get 10 bids a day and you have to buy more to reach more clients. thats why i dont like Upwork. sometimes they are also not good with their freelancers like they just banned them for no reason and.. it just says you to buy like every thing from your money like badges and all. this doesn't mean that fiverr is too good but i have tried both and fiverr was the most beginner friendly.
